Terri M. Sheehan

Terri is a 1999 graduate of Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota, with a MA in Management and Organizational Behavior. Terri is currently employed at the University of St. Thomas as Employment Services Manager and Business Partner. Prior to St. Thomas, Terri worked at Honeywell Incorporated in a variety of human resource related positions, with her final role as Sr. Human Resources Manager. Terri resigned from Honeywell in 2001, after twenty-eight years, to fulfill family obligations. She returned to her human resources profession in the fall of 2008, at St. Thomas.
 
Terri is a native of Blaine, Minnesota graduating from Coon Rapids High School in 1973. Terri and her husband, Jim, live in Ham Lake with their three children, all of whom attend DaVinci Academy.
 
Terri joined the DaVinci Academy Board in the fall of 2008. She was appointed to the office of Vice Chair in July 2009 and has held the office of Chair since November 2009. She comes to the board with substantial experience in human resources and a passion for education. She looks forward to utilizing those skills to help DaVinci Academy grow and prosper.  
 
 
David Cauley

David was educated in Shakespeare, European History and Art History at Glasgow University in Scotland, and graduated with a BA in English, with minors in History and Criminal Justice, from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. A lifetime spent creatively working with children culminated in a teaching license from Augsburg College. His enthusiasm for art, science, and medieval history brought him from the Eden Prairie school district to DaVinci Academy, where he has taught fourth grade since the school’s inception.
 
David grew up in Hopkins, Minnesota.  He is a Bronze Palm Eagle Scout, and served as Scoutmaster for an active troop of boys for seven years. He created and ran multiple youth and adult Leadership Training programs for his troop and district. He set two Hopkins High School records in sprint freestyle swimming in his senior year, and was head lifeguard and swim instructor at Shady Oak Beach for multiple summers, where he received two Minnesota Honor Deed Awards for preventing the loss of human life.
 
David organized and ran DaVinci Academy’s elementary age science fairs, and was a member of the school’s 2009 Director Search Committee.  He was asked by the Minnesota Historical Society to advise researchers at their 2010 “Redesigning Field Trips for the 21st Century” conference.  In August of 2010 he was nominated to join the DaVinci Academy Board by his fellow teachers and was elected to the board.
 
David currently resides in Coon Rapids.  He enjoys music, writing, natural science, art, theater, child development, entomology, and medieval history.
 
 
Douglass B. Hiatt

Doug graduated from Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska in 1990, with a BSBA in Accounting. In 1993 he graduated with a JD from the Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in October 1993. He has been a practicing attorney in the area of banking and financial law for the past eighteen years. He has been employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Bankers Systems in St. Cloud, and for the last fourteen years has been in-house counsel at TCF Financial Corporation.
 
Doug and his wife are the proud parents of a fourth grader and two first graders at DaVinci Academy.
 
Doug served on the board of a small private school in Elk River from 2006 thru 2008. He has served on the DaVinci Academy Board since September 2008, and is currently the chair of its Finance Committee. Doug has volunteered in a number of different programs over the years and enjoys helping others.
 
Alissa Savering

Alissa is a 2009 graduate of North Central University, with a BS in Elementary Education. After a year of substitute teaching, Alissa joined the DaVinci Academy staff in 2010. She is currently a full-time Title One teacher, assessing kindergarten through eighth students in math and reading. Assessment results are used to help students enhance their understanding of classroom instruction.
 
Alissa, who lives in Minneapolis, joined the DaVinci Academy Board in October 2011. By virtue of her daily interaction with all grade levels at DaVinci Academy, Alissa has the unique opportunity to see the successes and challenges our students and teachers experience on a daily basis. She looks forward to utilizing that experience to help the board gain enhanced insight on our school community and assist in the continued growth and development of our school.

 

  
Douglas L. Dinndorf

Doug is a 1969 graduate of St. Cloud State University, with a BA in Marketing. Doug enjoyed a thirty-six year career in mortgage banking, with senior management positions in the mortgage divisions of several large financial institutions. After twenty years with TCF Bank, he retired in 2006.
 
Doug and his wife, Jan, live in Vadnais Heights. They are the proud parents of two grown children and are fortunate enough to have two young grandsons who live nearby and enjoy spending time with grandma and grandpa.
 
Doug joined the DaVinci Academy Board in June 2010 as a community representative. He comes to the board with substantial experience in customer relations, financial planning and staff management. He looks forward to utilizing those skills to help DaVinci grow and prosper.  
 

Dale F. Lieb

Dale is a 1974 graduate of St. Mary’s University, with a BA in Business Administration and Modern Languages. He also received a MBA in Marketing in 1976 from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business. Dale is currently employed by CHS Inc., a large grain/energy agribusiness company in St. Paul, where he has held various finance, sales, marketing management and insurance brokering positions for the past thirty-three years.
 
Dale and his wife, Linda, are longtime residents of Vadnais Heights.
 
Dale joined the DaVinci Academy Board in May 2011 as a community representative. He comes to the board with substantial experience in financial and operational management, customer relations, marketing, and risk management. He looks forward to utilizing those skills to help DaVinci Academy accomplish their mission and achieve continued success.
 
 
Ravi Raghavapudi

Ravi graduated in 1994 from JNTU, India, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and then obtained a Masters in Engineering from University of Cincinnati. After working as an engineering consultant, Ravi went back to school to get an MBA in 2003 from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Chicago. Post MBA, he worked for Guidant in various sales and marketing roles. In 2007 Ravi joined Ecolab. He is currently Director of Marketing and Business Development for their healthcare business.
 
Ravi and his wife live in Blaine with their son, a DaVinci Academy 3rd grader, and 3-year old daughter.
 
Ravi joined the DaVinci Academy Board in September 2011 after serving on the board's finance committee for 6 months. Along with a variety of prior volunteer experiences, Ravi brings to the board a diverse background in technology, marketing, finance and general management. He looks forward to a very fulfilling experience while helping DaVinci Academy grow and prosper.
